Lock Crimp is one types of Weaves&Crimped Wire Mesh.
A refinement of the pre-crimp technique.Unlike Plain Crimp, Lock Crimp is characterized by straight sections of wire connected by a well defined 'bump' at the wire intersections, such a manner to actually 'lock' the wires together, offering further assurance of no wire movement.
Used in coarse specifications to maintain the accuracy of weave throughout screen life where the opening is large.
Typically used for heavy-duty screening. Also referred to as "arch crimp", " scalp weave” and "press-lock".
