DXR Wire Mesh Completes Weaving Workshop Upgrade to Support High-Mesh Stainless Steel Filter Cloth Orders

Anping County De Xiang Rui Wire Cloth Co., Ltd. (DXR Wire Mesh), a manufacturer and exporter of woven wire mesh and industrial filtration components, announced that it has completed an upgrade of its precision weaving workshop, improving output stability for fine-mesh stainless steel wire cloth in the 200 to 400 mesh range.

Founded in 1988 in Anping County — widely known as the hometown of China’s wire mesh industry — DXR operates as a manufacturing and trading combination with more than 30 years of experience in woven wire mesh and wire cloth. Today, the majority of the company’s production is delivered to customers in more than 50 countries and regions .

The workshop upgrade focuses on three areas that directly affect filtration performance:

• Dimensional consistency of mesh openings.​ Fine stainless steel filter cloth is judged by whether the openings stay uniform across the full width of the roll. The upgraded loom configuration and tension control reduce opening deviation, which matters most for customers who cut the cloth into filter discs, filter tubes or screen panels.
• Surface cleanliness.​ For applications in food production, pharmaceuticals and new energy material processing, the cloth must leave the workshop free of drawing lubricant residue and loose wire ends. Cleaning and inspection steps have been added before packing.
• Traceability.​ Each roll can be identified by material grade, mesh count, weave type and production batch, so that repeat orders can be matched to the original specification without re-sampling.

“Most of the inquiries we receive are not simply about mesh count,” said a technical sales representative at DXR. “They are about whether the next roll behaves the same way as the last one. Filtration customers build their process around a stable opening size, and our job is to keep that constant from roll to roll.”

The upgraded capacity primarily serves plain weave and twill weave stainless steel wire cloth in 304, 304L, 316 and 316L grades, as well as Dutch weave products for finer filtration duties. Typical applications include industrial oil filtration, chemical processing, powder screening, water treatment and battery material filtration.

DXR supplies stainless steel wire cloth with widths up to 2000 mm and offers roll lengths on request. Custom slit rolls, cut discs, and fabricated filter elements are also available.
