You can’t reinvent a classic. But you can double the number of threads, improve the dobby and make it more accessible. This is the interior designer.css-mnv24j{-webkit-text-decoration:underline;text-decoration:underline;text-decoration-thickness:0.0625rem;text-decoration-color:inherit;text-underline-offset:0.25. rem;color:inherit;-webkit-transition:all 0.3 with smooth transition;transition:all 0.3 with smooth transition;background image:linear gradient(down, rgba(55, 119, 188, 0.2), rgba( 55, 119, 188, 0.2));-webkit-background-position:0 100%;background-position:0 100%;background-repeat:repeat-x;-webkit-background-size:0 0; background size: 0 0; top fill: 0.05 rem; bottom filling: 0.05 rem;}. -webkit-background-size:.625rem 3.125rem;background-size:.625rem 3.125rem;} Nate Berkus did this work in a new collaboration with mDesign, aptly named Nate Home. its purpose? Back to basics.
“We wanted to provide those essentials you can’t live without,” he told ELLE DECOR. “The classic white sheet you crave after a long drive, no matter how much money you spend on skin care or dermatology treatments, you touch it to your face every day. If it doesn’t match the tried and true classic that people love. expectation, it is eliminated.
Now available at four major retailers (Target, Amazon, Bed, Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s), the new collection not only showcases the classy style imprinted on any Nate Berkus-approved home moment, but also offers an upscale classic at a very high price. affordable quality. The shortlist includes: white satin sheets, a striped cotton jersey duvet, terry cloth (available from the menu for those who prefer to choose), as well as a tiered pull-out trash can and a shallow turntable (the highlight of the classic tray).
The ingredients in premium white towels are amazing: Berkus spent an entire month individually researching towels, testing fibers and absorbency, scrutinizing safe chemicals, fine-tuning boundaries, and finding the best soft towels. “For every product in the collection, we culled at least four or five fabrics before we found something suitable for that particular category. The towels in particular – I think they were perfect.”
According to Berkus, the collection has been in the making for “years” and includes many fabrics inspired by Berkus’ experiences abroad (he uses his fourth passport, if anyone asks). A neutral-toned chambray duvet promises to give your restful room the feel of a French country house. Inspired by Central American design (all patterns hand-painted in-house), the jacquard print towel set exudes a timeless look and can be worn up or down. The perforated and enamelled white metal tea set echoes the 1890s Vienna Secession movement and French furniture designer Mathieu Matego, updated of course for a modern tea set.
Just in time for the annual spring cleaning ritual, the range of home organization products includes drawer organizers, plastic storage boxes and undershelf basket organizers. Everything you need for a perfectly secure pantry is not just a Berkus philosophy, it’s a way of life. “I’m ruthless about what’s in my house,” he explained. “I don’t even have what I consider to be an ugly coffee mug. I don’t care who gave it to me – forget it. Because until we rebuild our homes, we will never truly appreciate the best things we have.”
Berkus said he hopes the new collection – which, he jokes, “is like having a third child” – will be an all-in-one collection that people will use when they need extra sheets or a new set of towels as a housewarming gift. “I hope that my name has long been associated with quality, and this line is its continuation.”
